There’s lots happening this September at Royal William Yard with a huge range of interesting and unusual events on offer for all the family.
Open Air Cinema 15-17 Sept
Grab a picnic blanket and some bubbly and enjoy the authentic ‘Plymouth Arts Centre Experience’ at Royal William Yard. Taking place on the green there’ll be some awesome movies and a bar with wine, beer, soft drinks and cinema snacks.

Wall dancing – Sept 17 – 4 & 6.30
As part of the Ocean City Festival, Yskynna, the vertical wall dancing company present Hyreth, on Sept 17, at the Yard, with a special appearance of Hang In the Balance, David Waples. Prepare to be amazed!
Gran Fondo Cycling – Sept 18
It’s time for the eagerly anticipated cycling event Gran Fondo 2016. Plymouth will host the Gran Fondo 100 mile route and The Medio 70 mile route.
The mass participation cycling event follows the successful Piccolo (40 miles) and Settanta rides (70 miles) which took place earlier in the year in May, attracting over 300 riders. Based from its new waterfront location of Royal William Yard hosted by Rockets & Rascals and supported by Urban Splash, the event is headlining a summer of cycling in Plymouth.
Fashion Show – Sept 18
Already selling out fast, ID Fashion’s Fashion Show, in association with Envy and Le Vignoble, is set to be the fashion event of the season. BBC’s David Fitzgerald will compere stylish show in support of a Plymouth charity

Plymouth Art Weekender – 23-25 September
The second Plymouth Art Weekender will be taking place on the 23/24/25 of September 2016, organised by Visual Arts Plymouth. The event will be showcasing contemporary art across the city by local, national and international artists.
The Ocean Studios line-up for the weekender celebrates their first Birthday and our growing community of artists and features Jack Mooney, Open Studios, Martyn Cross and the Creative Collective Market.
